Care Instructions for a Flower Arrangement

1. Flower arrangements from Kvitna (such as boxes, baskets, or sheaves) are assembled in floral foam soaked with water, so they do not require a vase. Since water gradually evaporates, we recommend pouring a glass of cool water into the foam daily to keep it moist.
2. To extend the life of your flowers, place the arrangement in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat such as radiators, space heaters, and other appliances. Avoid placing the arrangement in the kitchen, especially near a stove or cooking area. It’s also best not to keep the flowers near fruits that emit ethylene gas, which can accelerate the aging and reduce the longevity of the blooms. Flowers don't like drafts either, so we recommend keeping the arrangement away from air conditioners or breezy areas. Avoid placing the arrangement directly on heated floors, as excessive warmth from underneath can harm the flowers.

Care Instructions for Hyacinths, Tulips, Muscari, Narcissus, and Other Bulb Flowers

1. After receiving your bouquet, trim each Hyacinth stem with a sharp knife or pruner. Make a straight cut at a 90-degree angle — this helps the stems absorb water more effectively. 
2. Place the Hyacinths in a vase filled with clean cool water. These flowers don’t need a lot of water — about 3–4 cm (1–2 inches) is enough. Just be sure the stems stay submerged and check the water level daily. 
3. Do not add flower food — bulb flowers typically last longer and open more beautifully without it. 
4. We recommend removing the bouquet’s wrapping and placing the stems in the vase in a spiral technique, as arranged by the florist. This helps the bouquet maintain its shape, while tulips develop their natural graceful curve and open up beautifully.
