Lilac is sensitive to moisture loss, which is why our florists remove excess leaves from the branches and split the ends of the stems — this helps the flowers absorb water more effectively. Afterwards, it is important to change the water regularly, trim the stems, and re-split their ends.

Lilac is a delicate flower, and if it begins to lose freshness, warm water (up to the level of the blossoms) can help revive it. The blooming life of cut lilac in a vase lasts up to 5–7 days.
